Memphis Head Start Center Aide

The CAPNEMO Head Start Program announces a vacancy for a Center Aide in our Memphis Head Start center. The Center Aide serves as an assistant in any area of the Head Start Center, including but not limited to, custodial duties, assisting in a classroom, assisting the kitchen staff in serving meals/snacks or washing dishes. Additional duties may be assigned.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must participate in/pass random drug and alcohol testing. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening. and alcohol testing. Benefits include sick/annual leave, Employer pay health insurance, life insurance, and retirement. Paid holidays.
This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Edina Head Start Teacher's Aide

Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri is seeking a Preschool Teacher Aide at the Edina Head Start Center, who is dedicated, flexible, professional, and compassionate. Responsibilities include providing and assisting with activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive growth in children ages three to five. Qualification Requirements: Have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential; are enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate or Baccalaureate degree or enrolled in a CDA program to be completed within 18 months of hire. Pfeiffer Street Early Head Start Center is seeking a fun, responsible individual to provide care and educational activities to children birth to 36-months old. A qualified applicant will have at a minimum a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in infant/toddler or an AA or better degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field). Child Care Floater

We are seeking someone who is dedicated, flexible, professional, and compassionate to work as a floater at our Head Start locations in Wayland, Memphis, and Glenwood. This individual would float between those centers as a substitute aide in the classroom, on the bus, and/or in the kitchen. Must participate in/pass random drug and alcohol testing. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening. This is a full-time, two-year position.
