Head Start Lead Teacher Kirksville
The CAPNEMO Head Start Program is recruiting for a Lead Teacher at our Kirksville site. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include planning daily schedule and weekly plan, supporting the programs goals of the learning environment, assessment and individualization, health and safety, parent/family involvement, record keeping, and volunteers and community involvement (other duties may be assigned).
Education/experience: At least one of the following: 1) an associate, baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education, 2) an associate, baccalaureate or advanced degree in a field related to early childhood education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education (15 credit hours) with experience teaching preschool-age children; 3) a baccalaureate or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children.
Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening, provide proof of a yearly physical exam and TB test, and participate in all required training. Must maintain current First Aid and CPR certification. Must maintain a valid Class "F" driver's license, have reliable transportation and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements.

Schuyler Co. Early Head Start Teacher
Schuyler Co Early Head Start Center is seeking a fun, responsible individual to provide care and educational activities to children birth to 36 months old. A qualified applicant will have at a minimum a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in infant/toddler or an AA or better degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field). Jamison Street Head Start Family Advocate
Family Advocate Position:
A full-time position as a Family Advocate has become available at the Jamison Head Start center.
Responsibilities include creating, providing, and coordinating services and activities with families and communities that foster strength, healthy living, and overall well-being. They act as a liaison between families, staff, the community, and other family-related services.
Qualification requirements: Must have a Family Development Credential or certificate within 18 months of hire.

Child Care Floater
We are seeking someone who is dedicated, flexible, professional, and compassionate to work as a floater at our Head Start locations in Wayland, Memphis, and Glenwood. This individual would float between those centers as a substitute aide in the classroom, on the bus, and/or in the kitchen. Must participate in/pass random drug and alcohol testing.
