SUPPORT CAPNEMO

DONATIONS
The vision of the Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri is "a better way of life" for all citizens in our area, and for 50 years we have helped to move our community's most vulnerable children and families towards economic security. Our last year has been difficult, but the future is even more daunting. Sequestration is reducing the number of children in Head Start, the number of homes for weatherization, and the amount available to assist the elderly and disabled with utilities. But, you can help!

Some of us are so fortunate, and this is a great opportunity for us to help those who are not. CAPNEMO wants all of our children to have a great start, we want everyone to live in a safe and warm home, and we don't want our elderly choosing between medication and a heating bill.

To be a part of this change and to help in the fight against poverty you can make a tax deductible monetary contribution to CAPNEMO. Remember 91 cents of every dollar goes to our clients.  Any amount is greatly appreciated;  just make your check payable to:

VOLUNTEER
CAPNEMO has worked since 1965 to meet the need of low-income families and individuals in Northeast Missouri. We are service providers, mentors, educatiors, volunteers and neighbors. We hope you will choose to join un in our efforts to help create environments for individuals, families  and communities to achieve independence and success by volunteering!

Without volunteers, CAPNEMO would not be able to provide the quality assistance for hundreds of families each month. Volunteers are essential to our Head Start & Early Head Start programs - as we are required to have a community match (in-kind) of $.25 for every $1 of Federal funds recieved. We offer both Work Study and Scholarship hours for those in college.

Volunteers are needed for the following departments:
  • Head Start
  • Community Development
  • Transportation
  • General Office

Many of our departments can use the support of an intern.
  • Development/Event Planning
  • Office/Finance Support
